‎ FAITH IN THE NAME OF JESUS BRINGS TESTIMONIES!

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all." (Acts 3:16 KJV)

Nothing in the kingdom of God is possible without faith! The Bible says,
"But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV). Faith makes things work! Last night we learnt that the name of Jesus is the major instrument for a testimony lifestyle. Calling the name of Jesus is not enough,you must believe in that name that is above all other names in heaven and earth.

In the opening scripture, Apostle Peter was defending a testimony that happened at the beautiful gate. He and John met a man who was crippled from his mother's womb and the man asked them for alms. Instead of giving money they gave him a lifetime testimony with the power of attorney they possessed.

Look at what they did with the name of Jesus
" Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." (Acts 3:6 KJV).
Hallelujah! They spoke a testimony into existence using the name of Jesus and the result was instant. They spoke with authority in the name and the devil ran away from the man. Wow!That is what happens when you use the name of Jesus with faith in your heart. The man was healed immediately,
"And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God." (Acts 3:7, 8 KJV).

He was healed instantly and the testimony began to spread, people gathered as they watched a testimony happen before their very eyes. When every body started asking how it happened Peter stood up and explained with our opening scripture
"And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all."
You have direct access to that name and you can command the same result if you use the name in faith.

Faith is believing what the word of God declares as truth over every situation and circumstance. Having faith in the name of Jesus is being conscious and confident that God cannot lie. Expect your testimony as you use the name of Jesus in faith.
"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;" (Philippians 2:10 KJV).

Henceforth believe the Word and operate in the Word.When Peter used that name and the man was staring at him, he added an action to make it work.
"And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength."

Faith is acting on the word of God because you believe He cannot fail. This is your season and hour of testimony ,keep speaking in the name of Jesus with faith in that name.

‎ YOU ARE A TESTIMONY

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:" (1 Cor 1:6 KJV)
What you see most is the strongest in your life! Your birth was not a biological mistake. You came to this earth a winner! You are a victor! You are a champion! The first testimony you must see and share this month for your celebration is you! The seeds that left your father into your mother for a formation were in thousands but you were the first to hit the expected target. All other seeds died but you made it!

Your mother encountered several complications during your pregnancy and you overcame them. There were conflicting predictions about your birth date, some people said it would not come to pass. Some medical results were negative. Even the scan results were contradictory, yet you were born. It was an unusual delivery but here you are! Your mother cried and groaned in pain. It was a valley of the shadow of death but you scaled through.

When you were born, you came out crying but all the same you are still alive. I cannot imagine any bigger testimonies than you and your journey through life. You are a bundle of testimonies!Since you came to this world you have been through all kinds of temptations and trials but through it all you are still standing. Remember those days when it seemed you would not wake up or make it through the day, yet you are still alive.

Enter this month with a different perception about yourself. Scream it on top of your voice that you are a testimony. Stop seeing those temporary set backs of the past. Remove your eyes from them! I agree that some challenges you went through where quite painful just like your delivery where your mother cried in pain but the tears eventually turned to joy. In the same way, all your tears are turning to joy this month.

You are not a failure but a testimony! The fact that some parts of your life seem to be unfruitful does not make you barren, you are a testimony. Some persons who went through what you experienced died as a result but you pulled through because you are a testimony. You are not poor because poor people cannot survive what you have gone through in life. Every area of your life is a testimony.

That you are alive today to see the beginning of this month is a big testimony. There is no bigger testimony than you, you are a living proof that God cannot fail. You are an evidence on earth that God is faithful. God sees you and He is proud to be God because you are a reflection of His glory. Can I hear you shout I am a TESTIMONY!

Father thank you for making me a testimony in Jesus name. Amen!
