I believe it is possible to know what God is like. The Bible declares that God is Spirit, that He is not limited to body; He is not limited to shape; He is not limited to force; He is not limited to boundaries or bonds; He is absolutely immeasurable.
Thousands of people are trying to limit God to certain spheres, and relegate Him to certain categories that are the product of their own speculation. There is no limit to God. There is no limit to His wisdom. There is no limit to His power. There is no limit to His love. There is no limit to His mercy. Men change, fashions change, conditions and circumstances change, but God never changes.
Prayer for the day: I limit You so many times, Lord. Forgive my finite mind and fill me with Your wisdom, power, and mercy, so that I can touch those You love this day.

PRAISE HIM FOR HIS PROMISES!
TONIGHT'S SCRIPTURE."God, you did everything you promised, and I'm thanking you with all my heart. You pulled me from the brink of death, my feet from the cliff-edge of doom. Now I stroll at leisure with God in the sunlit fields of life." (Psalm 56:12, 13 MSG).
Your God is a God of promises! The scripture is a book of His promises. Praising God for His promises is an important part of our thanksgiving and praises. God can never fail,His promises are yea and Amen. The Lord God will never say what He will not do because the scriptures cannot be broken. The opening scripture says, God will always do all He promised .Therefore we should give Him praise for His promises.
You must know the promises of God in His word concerning your needs. Every praise giver must be a word eater!Search the word for Gods promises concerning you. Be a "word searcher" and also a "word eater"! The more promises you profess the more praises you will give to God. Get passionate about the promises of God for your life on a daily basis and your praises will become more meaningful.
"Whatever God has promised gets stamped with the Yes of Jesus. In him, this is what we preach and pray, the great Amen, God's Yes and our Yes together, gloriously evident." (2 Corinthians 1:20 MSG).
Praising God is the same as saying yes to His promises! Praise gives a stamp of approval to God's promise. Every time you praise Him you are saying Yes to His word. One major way of praising God for His promises is to speak His promises to Him as praises. David after discovering the promise of divine provision sang,
" The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1 KJV)
Sing His promises to Him and remind Him daily of His promises .Call those things that be not as though they were, that is the spirit of praise and worship. God is not a man that he should lie neither is He the son of man that he should repent, whatever he says he will do. Hold on to him by standing on His promises that cannot fail. Your praising Him for His promises is a proof that you are standing on the promises of God.

PRAISE IS CONTAGIOUS!
TONIGHT'S SCRIPTURE."Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces. (Proverbs 13:20 MSG)
You cannot make praise a lifestyle when you keep company with ungrateful and 'unpraiseful' people. Your constant fellowship with those who only see a better yesterday will make you think like them. Your destiny is influenced to some extent by the company you keep. You cannot be friends with a thankful person and not be thankful. In the same way if you are friends with an ingrate it will also have a negative
effect on you. The Bible says,
"Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces."
The wisdom of praises dwells with men of praise but the unstable life of a fool is traceable to the people they hang-out with. Praise like most habits is contagious ! We have established that the company you keep is directly linked to making praise a lifestyle.
In addition the kind of church you worship counts, fear or faith comes by hearing. When your faith grows you will grow in praises, but when you are fed with fear you will get depressed and discouraged.
"But don't fool yourselves. Don't let yourselves be poisoned by this anti-resurrection loose talk. "Bad company ruins good manners." (1 Corinthians 15:33 MSG)
If you choose to keep the wrong company you will loose your praise knowledge and habit. It is better to keep praising God alone than to join the assembly of complainers. Iron will only sharpen iron! Do not go anywhere or keep company that does not sharpen your faith.
Stay in the place of strength and praise. Wherever your light will not shine brighter is not a good place to stay or go. Look at the way Jesus put it,
"Do not give that which is holy (the sacred thing) to the dogs, and do not throw your pearls before hogs, lest they trample upon them with their feet and turn and tear you in pieces." (Matthew 7:6 AMP)
Anyone who cannot see what you see cannot do what you do! Praising God is holy, do not throw it before dogs, be careful not to allow people mock your faith in praises. Like the opening scripture said he that walks with the wise shall be wise but when you hang out with fools you risk loosing all you have . Look out for people and places of like mind and you can be certain your thankful life will increase.

TURN YOUR PAIN TO GAIN!
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE "Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever." (Psalm 30:11, 12 KJV)
The Bible says all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose. We saw earlier that as born again Christians we are customised for praises. Therefore in order for all things to work together for your good in painful situations, you must realise and operate in your purpose ie praises. I remember the lyrics of a Hymn that ministered to me sometime ago,
" faith can sing in afflictions".
You cannot genuinely praise God in any situation without the knowledge that God knows what is best for you. When your faith sees the best in the worst experiences of life, then your mouth can open up in praises and your gain will appear.
Are you jobless and in need? Look beyond your situation,see the God who is your shepherd and then raise your voice in praises for He will lead you to greener pastures. Are you married and believing God for the fruit of the womb? Be joyful and praise Him that you are married and a legitimate candidate for motherhood. Look for a reason in your present state to praise Him and you will see God perfecting everything you are looking up to Him for.
You have Jesus in you and the Bible says, He is the Joy of the whole world, Christ in you is the hope of glory. Become an encouragement to others because you can see beyond you present situation. Look beyond your present situation into the unseen eternal word of God. If someone disappoints you, lift your voice and thank God for a better divine appointment.
Recently, a sister was approached by a brother for a relationship. Though she was ready for marriage it did not work out. She just gave thanks and praised God without reservation. A few days ago she called ♏έ and said
"Sir will you believe I just heard that brother died"? She said if that relationship had continued, by now they would be married. Can you imagine?Indeed disappointments are blessings in disguise. Our opening scripture says, God can turn your mourning into dancing. However, the turning must begin with you. Look at where you are and look for a reason to be grateful. See the gain in your pain. Refuse to let the devil exaggerate the pain and see the light at the end of the tunnel. Surely there is an end and your expectation will not be cut short.

Start praising God for the gain in your pain! Praise the lord!

PRAISE GOD IN SPITE OF PAIN!
TONIGHT'S SCRIPTURE."David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God." (1 Samuel 30:6 AMP)
The most difficult time to praise the Lord is during the times of sorrow, broken-heartedness,failures,mi
King David found himself in this kind of situation. It was so bad that his men attempted to stone him after they discovered that their wives and children had been carried away by their enemies from their camp. At that time King David had no one to turn to, but he stuck with the attitude of praise,
"........ But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God."
Encouraging oneself in the Lord is the ability to see that all hope is not lost when God is on your side. If you can turn to God when the storms of life rage,you will find strength to move on and turn your pain to praise. Be in charge of your situation and do not allow the devil make you feel hopeless and helpless. Give God His rightful place.
You must get to a point where satan knows that your heart is filled with the word of God and cannot be broken. Stop making yourself an object of pity by all and sundry. Brace up, God is on the throne!
Encouragement is a spiritual endowment in you! Draw from the fountain of life in you, for out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. Self encouragement in the Lord is very important. Bury your past failures. Almost all pain is in the past even if it happened today. Anger, bitterness, wrath, tears,mourning,or any pain induced attitude is not a solution. When you allow the above traits saturate your mind, you will be devastated, discouraged,disappointed and you may loose your mind if not properly handled. God forbid! You are too loaded with goodness to loose your mind.
Encourage yourself and praise God even when the odds seem to be against you. Ignore the negative forces around you and reach out for the oil of joy in exchange for the spirit of heaviness.

PRAISE ATTRACTS MERCY!
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name. Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore."
(Psalm 18:49, 50 KJV)
Praise attracts mercy from the throne of God! Mercy is the supernatural ability of God to cleanse us and prevent the judgement that should follow. No matter where you have been or what you have done,when mercy comes it overlooks your mistakes.
When God designed the plan of your life, it was not dependent on your being perfect. Neither did He assume you would never make a mistake or take a wrong turn. No, God knew we would all make mistakes. He knows how to get you back on track no matter where you are in life. Just like there are many routes on a map, God has a plan to help you reach your destination that is why He is a merciful God. He has detours, shortcuts and bypasses. He has already calculated the entire route for your life.
The opening scriptures above say because of praise and thanksgiving God showed mercy to King David and his seed for evermore. When you do what David did,ie praising God without reservation and with all your might, He will show you mercy also.
When God said.
"But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. (Matthew 12:7 KJV)
This scripture is saying showing mercy is Gods prerogative and what qualifies one for His mercy is praise.
If you feel like you are too far gone in transgression or you have derailed in one way or the other; note that there is no mistake that you have made or will ever make that is a surprise to God. He has already got it figured out. He has arranged a comeback for every setback! He has grace and mercy for every weakness. He has mercy for every failure. Receive it today and move forward with boldness in praises into the destiny He has for you!
The more you thank and praise Him for His mercy that endures forever the more He will release mercy on you. Humanly speaking,King David did not deserve to be a force to be reckoned with in the kingdom because he sinned severally and had many flaws. But the mercy of God was continuously upon him due to His continuous praises to God and that made God see him as a man after His heart. Look at one of his psalms,
" O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever. O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever: The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever: The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever." (Psalm 136:1-9 KJV)
The whole of the chapter of that psalm shows how the mercy of God is from everlasting to everlasting!

Open that Psalm in your Bible and praise God with that chapter as you appreciate Him for His mercy.

PRAISES BRING LIFE!
TONIGHT'S SCRIPTURE."Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. (John 11:40-44 KJV)
Jesus praised God in thanksgiving at Lazarus 's grave and the miracle of resurrection took place. This shows how powerful and important it is to praise God in spite of our challenges. Many believers think we should only praise God after the miracle has taken place but that is wrong.
Praise is an instrument of the miraculous! Look at that incident, Jesus thanked God and called Lazarus out of the grave and he came out alive. He did not pray for him to come out alive but rather praised God and life came.
Not only should every living soul praise the Lord or everything that has breath but everything that needs breath. Praise and thanksgiving brought life to him even in the grave! Jesus said to call him,
"Lazarus come forth".
He did not ask or beg God to please raise him. Jesus knew life had returned to Him the moment praise ascended unto God. Whatever you praise God for receives life,the life of God, Zoe. Nothing dies in the hands of the believer who makes praise a lifestyle!
"Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me."
(John 14:6 AMP)
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Therefore, wherever Jesus appears, life appears. He is life ,therefore when He appears anywhere life takes over deadness. Your praises bring God the father and the son to your situation. Since Jesus is the way,truth and life,wherever Jesus appears every grave situation opens up. The truth which is the Word of God that carries abundant life will appear and life itself will manifest.
Every genuine praise restores life in "dead" or "grave" situations. If you want your "dead" situation transformed, give God unreserved praises and life will take over. Whatever you praise God for receives life immediately. Singing praises to God speaks life into your situation.
"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." (Psalm 16:11 KJV).
The presence of God brings life into any situation. The presence of God will only come through praise and thanksgiving.

PRAISES PROVOKE SUPERNATURAL LIFT!
PRAISES PROVOKE SUPERNATURAL LIFT!
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments." (Habakkuk 3:18, 19 KJV)
Praises provoke supernatural lift for promotion in life! Every born again believer is created to be above only and not beneath!The ladder to this higher place of destiny is praises. The Bible says by strength shall no man prevail, promotion in life is divine. When you begin to rejoice as you praise God He strengthens you for supernatural rising. Your lifting is in the hands of God to decide. No wonder the scripture says,
"He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dung hill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord." (Psalm 113:7-9 KJV)
It takes the grace of God to be raised from the dust of the earth. Man was made from dust but was not destined to remain in the dust. In order to move to your exalted destiny you need God. He is a lifter of the needy out of the dung hill to the top hill. When God appears in a place He puts a stop to any kind of barrenness found there.
Look closely at that scripture above. For God to embark on this supernatural lift, the Psalmist says, "......Praise the Lord."
Since He inhabits the praises of His people, until He arrives on the wings of praise everyone remains on the ground.
Your supernatural lift is determined by His presence and His presence is determined by your praises. Therefore praising Him equals lifting you! You can rely on Jehovah the lifter for any area of your life that needs a lift!
"But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head." (Psalm 3:3 KJV)
When you begin ceaseless praise you will be shielded from demotion into glorious living. Your lifting Him will provoke your own supernatural lift! Are you tired of reduction and rejection?Take your garment of praise and become a higher flyer. The more you praise Him the better He will lift you. You are not permitted to be beneath anymore! In all your endeavours you will be lifted! Whatever sits on your promotion will be scattered by the earthquake that welcomes God into your situation .
Get ready to be lifted from a minimum life to the maximum realm. He that is from above is above all! Keep flying on eagles wings of praises. It is your season of unlimited shining.

Praises provoke supernatural lift for promotion in life! Every born again believer is created to be above only and not beneath!The ladder to this higher place of destiny is praises. The Bible says by strength shall no man prevail, promotion in life is divine. When you begin to rejoice as you praise God He strengthens you for supernatural rising. Your lifting is in the hands of God to decide. No wonder the scripture says,
"He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dung hill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord." (Psalm 113:7-9 KJV)
It takes the grace of God to be raised from the dust of the earth. Man was made from dust but was not destined to remain in the dust. In order to move to your exalted destiny you need God. He is a lifter of the needy out of the dung hill to the top hill. When God appears in a place He puts a stop to any kind of barrenness found there.
Look closely at that scripture above. For God to embark on this supernatural lift, the Psalmist says, "......Praise the Lord."
Since He inhabits the praises of His people, until He arrives on the wings of praise everyone remains on the ground.
Your supernatural lift is determined by His presence and His presence is determined by your praises. Therefore praising Him equals lifting you! You can rely on Jehovah the lifter for any area of your life that needs a lift!
"But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head." (Psalm 3:3 KJV)
When you begin ceaseless praise you will be shielded from demotion into glorious living. Your lifting Him will provoke your own supernatural lift! Are you tired of reduction and rejection?Take your garment of praise and become a higher flyer. The more you praise Him the better He will lift you. You are not permitted to be beneath anymore! In all your endeavours you will be lifted! Whatever sits on your promotion will be scattered by the earthquake that welcomes God into your situation .
Get ready to be lifted from a minimum life to the maximum realm. He that is from above is above all! Keep flying on eagles wings of praises. It is your season of unlimited shining.

PRAISES BRING INCREASE!
TODAY'S SCRIPTURE."Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us." (Psalm 67:5, 6 KJV).
The earth carries a lot of virtue and it take praises to access the increase on earth. With high praises you can lay hold of your inheritance of the earth. The Bible says the earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof. The secret of accessing the fullness of the earth is praises unto God.
The opening scripture says when people praise God the earth gives them increase. Meaning all good things on earth are programmed and locked up, if you want increase you must have the password of praises. Until genuine praise goes up the increase cannot come down. If you must increase on earth then you must give the God of heaven quality praise. The Bible says,
"Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field." (Ecclesiastes 5:9 KJV)
The earth is full of all kinds of resources and profits! Every thing that pertains to life and godliness has already been made available. The problem is that many believers are ignorant of what to do to access this all time profit. If you want increase, look beyond your present challenges and look unto Jesus with praises. When you praise God every smallness becomes greatness.
Praise is the mystery behind increase. No matter how much seed you sow on earth, without rain there can be no increase. Until your seed is watered by praises it will die. Praise is the shower of blessing your seed needs for increase. Praise is the basis of increase on earth. Jesus had five thousand men excluding women and children to feed in the wilderness and they had two fish and five loaves of bread. Jesus knew the most effective way to ensure that the meal was adequate for the multitude.
"Then Jesus took the bread and, having given thanks, gave it to those who were seated. He did the same with the fish. All ate as much as they wanted."
(John 6:11 MSG).
Every thanksgiving and praise to God produces abundance. Whatever you have that is small only needs praise to increase. Without praises barrenness will prevail and backwardness will become the order of the day. Praise is a fertiliser! Praise is a booster! Praise is a magnifier and Praise is an amplifier!

Think about any area of your life that is small,give thanks in that direction and expect increase.
